After grabbing this amazing corset at Ison for Fifty Linden Friday, I knew I had to wear these colorful mesh pants by PurpleMoon – I bought them a while ago, but never got around to blog them. Moniq had on the anniversary gift by Akeruka, a tanned skin that I became in love with. And I realized that Moniq looks like those amazing Italian beauties that I see on TV. Or in the commercials for that Italian beer brand that I’m not going to name. Curvaceous, elegant and tanned. Pretty much what RL me would love to be and is not But I’m sure we can skip this part
I dressed my pixel doll in this sexy little number by Fleshtone, I added the lickable Maitreya boots (huge discount for group members for this color) and I took her to LA for a supermodel photo shoot. And then, this lovely kitty trolls my photo!
His name is Diabolo, according to the hovering text, but he looks like a little angel, only it’s an angel running around and playing tricks. So this not be the best angle for the pose or photo, but includes my new companion lol. Also, my PC decided to freeze after this snapshot, so no close-up today!
The thought of Hair Fair alone makes me squeee, I can’t wait for it to open! I love to change haircut and color A LOT in RL, but that comes with a price that’s really heavy on my hair. In SL, however, i can change my hairdo every day with no other cost than L$.
This year’s fair starts on July 14 (can you hear me counting the days?) and a percentage of all sales will go, as usual, to Wigs for Kids, a charity that helps children who lost their hair due to illness have a normal life.
Meanwhile, there’s a Flickr contest with amazing prizes from hair makers – and more – and you have until June 30 to submit your entries. This is my second entry (first one is here).
I kinda feel that my photos are looking more or less the same these days so I needed to try something new. While that’s usually complicated and time consuming, sometimes it can be as easy as using a keyboard combo! And that’s where Ctrl+8 comes in. I use Ctrl+0 a lot, to zoom in, but rarely use the opposite because it has the bad habit of deforming the avatar. In this case, however, I loved the perspective that the zoom out feature gave this photo:
Not having enough time for SL & blogging, I keep mixing events and concepts and at some point I think we’ll get to a point when no one understands what I want to say
I am trying though! So today you find out that there’s a Wedding Fair going on, that Fairy Tales in 2012 started and that it’s time to get ready for Hair Fair – by submitting your best photos to the flickr contest.
Once upon a time, there was a girl that everyone knew as the Little Red Riding Hood. One evening, she went to see her grandmother. She had to walk alone in the woods and she was a bit scared, but her trip was very important. She reached her grandma’s house and said, “Grandma, can I have some more lindens, please? There’s a huge sale at Leverocci!” Her grandmother gave her the money and said, “also, there’s an event called Fairy Tales that starts today at 2 pm. Go buy a new red riding hood, yours is so last year!”
Obviously, there’s no big bad wolf in this story – unless I end up on one of those fashion police blogs. So they lived happily ever-after and all that!
That’s true, Je Suis turns two this month and there’s celebration coming up! First, there’s a photo contest (details here) and you still have time to enter (ok, one day, but that is still something!), and on the 23rd there’s going to be a party with music and gifts and lots of fun.
Also, if you don’t have Je Suis accessories to wear for your photo contest entry, there’s also a sale at the store!
So happy anniversary, Je Suis, I hope to see you on the grid for the 10th anniversary too!
