I recently read a Plurk where some of my favorite ashionistas were discussing about mesh clothing and how they fit/ not fit in the Standard Sizing. Of course, a lot depends on the designer of clothing items that is not related to SS and that can make an item fit right out of the box or need shape tweaking. For one thing, the boobs. Adjusting them to the SS size S (cause I’m usually an S) is not enough. There’s gravity, there’s the separate/joint cleavage option and such.
I often have to adjust my shape to fit mesh clothes. I do that, usually, especially in the breast area. With the bottom… well… there’s an issue. I’m kind of proud of Moniq’s bottom (weird, I know), so I usually wear the mesh size that comes closest to my shape. And cover the rest with alphas
Where am I going with that? Well, there’s this brand that sells shapes made for Standard Sizing (actually, I hope there’s more of them, but I wasn’t really interested in shapes so far). It’s quite surprising to see how little skin was visible underneath my mesh clothes, compared to my usual shape.
So this made me thinking. Should I go Standard Sizing for Moniq? I feel that she would not be the same without her shape, but on the other hand… having a shape that fits mesh clothes almost perfect would be handy. I guess I’ll toss a coin… or maybe not.
