Project FUR Japan, a fundraiser meant to help the pets left behind during the horrible earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan, is starting tomorrow. The event was planned to raise money for the rescue and care of the animals that survived that disaster – and to help families who fled for their lives to reunite with their pets. To better understand why this charity is taking place, watch this sad, sad video.
Here’s a quick look that I made using mostly items donated by designers all over SL for this project. You should know that all the items available at the event – some old, some new, some exclusive – are sold with 100% of benefits going to charity.
The top is by Cynful, the skinny jeans are by paper.doll, the cap and booties are by Le Poppycock – a store I never heard about before, but I totally like now. The dog, called Shiba Inu, is by Hazzard Kitty and its head, ears, and tail are animated. Oh, and he loves Sushi! All these items will be available as of tomorrow at Project Fur Japan.
The beautiful pearl necklace is the April group gift by Dark Mouse – and it should be open enrollment now! – and the matching earrings are a gatcha machine prize. The hair is Clawtooth by Clawtooth and is one of the two colors available for Fifty Linden Friday.
The pose is by Del May and will be available at the Pose Fair as of today, 12 PM, I think, when the event opens. You will see more of Del May poses in the second part of today’s PFJ feature, cause I don’t want to bug you with too many pics in one post.
This pose is courtesy of my AO (SLC 2010Selectiom AO SET) an old gift by SLC.
