I’m in a star mood today, so I took Moniq to the stage today and made her a steampunk rockstar. Actually, I took this photo for the Vintage Fair Flickr contest – there’s still time to join in, if you didn’t. Moniq is wearing a steampunk outfit by Gizza available at the event and the GoGo skin by Curio, also a VF release. I chose the Innsmouth Opera house stage, because it’s one of the places that I love best in SL and because it was in line with the outfit. And since I need contrasts in my livf, an avatar wearing steampunk on a 19th century location must play a star-shaped electric guitar!
I took Moniq to the circus today. Why? I have no idea. But the elephant in the background and the sepia shade are totally contrasting with the outfit. And I like that. Yes, I am twisted like that.
Moniq seems a bit lost in these photos. She’s wearing a very short Fleshtone dress and those incredibly sexy Gos boots and there she is, out in the wild. She’s wearing her new Nemesis clutch and ring (you need to check out the whole new collections, it rocks big time) and there’s no one to look at them in the wilderness. Sad city girl experience :p I have the feeling that the elephant likes her outfit though :p
As you may have found out, Magoa will close on the 30th. That’s two days from now. That’s the bad news, cause I love Keira’s style. The good news is that everything at the store is L$10, so go get what still missing from your inventory.
While this is the end of the store, I’m sure that Keira will come up with something else for us. She’s restless and she’ll soon find a new SL adventure. Because, somehow, she blogs, she runs events and she makes stuff and she has the time for all that! I wonder how many hours her day has😀
So goodbye Magoa, have a little piece of my heart
This look has something French about it. Maybe the hair, maybe the outfit, maybe the pose… Anyway, I must admit that I love it! And yes, we’re back to Vintage Fair full coverage, because I’ve been planning to blog this look for quite a long while!
I never meant this, actually, but when I took this snapshot I realized that all the looks for this post are black! Truth is, I’m happy with it. It kinda reminds me about me and my friends in our “dark days”, when we were rocking the clubs till late in the morning :))
What you need to know: The blue Kalnins sandals are available at the Dressing Room Blue and the blue necklace is Dark Mouse’s item for Project Themeory, you still have some time to get it. (Why? Because it’s incredibly cute and the bow is color-change, so that is a great deal!)
Also, Analog Dog has new hair styles in the freebie ball on the beach. Go get them!
Also, Chantkare released the Holiday Collection with amazing outfits and Fleshtone has a new Essentials collections, also worth a look. And now let’s go dancing!
I love clutches! I avoid them in RL, because I need freedom for both hands, but I just love them in SL. The one Moniq is wearing now is a gift at Priss. And though this is not my favorite color, I made a pinkish look around it. The dress is a new release by DCNY for Vintage Fair – and you can find it in several color combos at the event, the Glam Affair skin is Dressing Room special and the hair is a Hair Softens gift at their RMK Gothic mall location.
Not my favorite month of the year, but this is the name of La Petite Morte’s new skin. To me, making skins seems the most difficult task of the entire content creation in SL. I may be wrong, of course, but I am so amazed when someone starts making skins and they come up great. This is the case for December, so I’m happy to show it to you. But let’s start with today’s look, because I made Moniq elegant using Vintage Fair and mesh items:
Or my clothes are, to get to the point. Sleepy me can’t write too much today. I have to tell you though that Chantkare launched a Holiday collection, with cocktail-themed dresses and more, that I did a bit more of Diamond Is Mine Hunt and that the Vintage Fair is still on and is a great place to shop.
