If I was a clubbing girl and looked as hot as my avatar, I’d rock this type of outfit. But I’m not, so I’m only going to show you some pixel fashion:
The new summer collection by Peqe is cute, colorful, and sexy. I love the colors, the texture, the tops, the dresses… of course, I love the green ones more, but they are all cute! And I love the vendors cause they look like real clothes in a store. And since I had The Rack, one of my favorite props by Glitterati, rezzed on my platform, I thought I’d take this snapshot:
One of the first things people learn about me is that I love green. Light, dark, emerald, jade, apple, lime, you name it. So fellow blogger and designer Corina Carlberg made my day with this lovely green bikini set, which she set as dollarbie on the marketplace.
So I dressed up for the beach. I added a pair of sexy shorts by Boom, my beloved prim feet by SLink, a hair with hat by Kletva available at the Dressing Room Blue and some jewelery available at the Accessory Fair: bangles by Sin&Virtue and a necklace by R.A. Crystal. It’s actually a set, but you can’t really see the earrings because of the hair.
Culture Shock starts on May 1st, with more than 170 stores preparing new and exclusive items for all fashionistas. Here’s a quick preview for you, cause the time has come to get ready for the shock!
Today was hair day. So many new releases and so many beautiful styles to choose from! One of my favorites is Novel by Elikatira, a 50’s inspired style with a pin-up girl flavor. When I was thinking about an outfit to suit it, Chantkare just sent a lovely gorp gift, a retro spring dress. And… well… that was it!
SL fall is cool cause you can wear beautifully colored sweaters with fluffy dresses and no socks. RL autumn sucks cause you get the falling leaves with wind and cold weather. So here’s two looks for SL fall for you. I would only recommend them in RL if you are lucky to have 25 Celsius outside 😀
The skirt is the latest group gift by SMS, while the top is a new release by Fierce Designs. It is part of an outfit called Hide and Seek and comes in several colors. Orange is my favorite, however 🙂 The hair is by Berries Inc. and that cute hat is color change, so you can adjust it to match about any outfit.
And here’s the second look for today, for which I used some of the coolest gifts available on the grid these days: Exile hair, DCNY dress and ruffle bolero by G Field.
Styling and SLURLs:
top: Hide and Seek by Fierce Designs (part of outfit, new release)
skirt: Simple Skirt Army Green by SMS (group gift)
hair: Sam in Spoon by Berries Inc.
skin: Erika in tan by Amacci
dress: Autumn Peach Dress by DCNY (dollarbie in store)
jacket: Ruffle Bolero in Pumpkin by G Field (subscriber gift)
shoes: Square-toe Shoes “Sophie” inautumn leaf by G Field (lucky board prize here)
skin: Heather by Tik Tok
Hair: Mina/GG Mix by Exile (subscriber gift)
I gladly took Gogo’s Newbie Style Challenge, thinking it would be easy for me, since my looks are mostly made with free or cheap items. But it was rather difficult, because I did not want to cheat and use items that were already on my blog, flickr or even inventory, although they were purchased after July 4 (that’s July 5 by my time zone already). So last night I walked around SL to build a completely new look. I think I made that pretty good.
But I took it a bit further. Since it can be argued that this is an everyday challenge for freebie bloggers, I thought I’d give myself a more difficult task and do what an actual noob, with not much help from older members, would do: build a look at the Gnubie store. I was amazed to see great stuff there, made by some of the top designers in SL.
That’s what I’m doing now 😀 Though I must admit that blogging kinda helps me cool it down. Before I started posting, I was collecting more items, tried them on, maybe took some pics and start over again. Now I have to choose the items, find a good location for pics, take the snapshots, edit them, post them, write about them, provide slurls… And that turned out to eat a lot of my time, not that I had much free time anyway. So I kinda became more selective and now I only stick to items that I want to blog. However, my inventory is becoming huge and threatens to burst out, although I clean it up quite often. Here are some things that I do not plan to include in any cleaning, because they are cute and I love them all.
First of all, add My Precious to your profile picks and get this hot little black dress for free.
I used green accessories because I don’t really like an all-black look, because green is my favorite color and mainly because I missed this gorgeous Tuli skin that was sent as a group gift a while ago. Also in back and green comes the next snapshot: Lurani has a cute black babydoll as freebie at its new location.
