I was wearing this stunning gown by Amarelo Manga as I tried the new Rock poses by HelaMiyo. And, well, I loved the look. See for yourselves:
That’s a bit ironic, I know. But a day on an empty beach would be like paradise to me. If only I could find an empty beach, during the summer season 😀
Anyway, I made this look with stuff that piled up in my inventory while I was too busy in RL to blog.
The skin is by Aeva and is a donation item for the Love Donna Flora event. The hair is by Calico and it was a release for Hair Fair 2013, but I hope you can find it in the store now.
The swimsuit is a recent release by Amarelo Manga, while the necklace is Kungler’s gift for Inovare Magazine readers. Also a group gift are the Holly Hood shoes.
I’m back from my Easter vacation with a new post for you. While I was gone, things happened in SL (but then again, things always happen in SL, don’t they?) LeLutka released new hair, Amarelo Manga and Pure Poison launched their new collections. And, although this happened before my holiday, Akeruka released the full line of Manuela, the skin introduced at the Skin Fair 2013.
I needed some shoes for this dress, so I did an inventory search and rediscovered these Ison shoes. This reminded me that I wanted to take a snapshot on the Ison sim for quite a while, so I TPed there. I love how the desert highlights the colors of this outfit, so here’s the snapshot:
As the previous hundreds of blog posts on all feeds have announced today, May 1st is the first anniversary of FaMESHed and a ton of amazing creators have a ton of must-have stuff for you. So let’s wish FaMESHed a happy anniversary, congratulate the organizers for the best monthly event in SL and now go do your shopping!
And let’s get to the second topic of this post. It’s, unfortunately, not a happy one. Voshie Paine, creator of La Petite Morte skins, needs funds quick to save her cat. Allie, her kitty, got sick and needs treatment as soon as possible. Here’s a link to her story. To cover the vet bills, Voshie has placed a special edition of the Wixson skin for sale for only L$100 and there’s also a cat tattoo that you can buy for L$10. Just take a look at the photo to see how beautiful the skin is!
It was a lovely weekend, in spite of a late night shift at work. So there was little time for SL these days.
But now the weekend’s over, so here’s a look that I made for my enjoyment. And yours, I hope!
With Pose Fair 2013 up and running, it’s time to introduce oOo Studio new releases for the event. The Lookbook series has great modelling poses that are a perfect choice for blogging an elegant dress.
For today’s post, I chose a dress by Amarelo Manga, part of the Red Carpet collection. I love the lace details on the upper part – which means that the shape must be well fitted to avoid mesh clipping through the avatar. But hey, small shape adjustments didn’t kill anyone, right?
The Pose Fair 2013 will soon open with dozens of designers and lots of new props and poses. For a blogger or a photographer, that’s like heaven. We all talk about skins, hair, clothes or accessories, but in the end, what can make or break a photo is the pose.
I am a pose collector. I have thousands and, while I do inventory cleaning from time to time, to keep it below the crash limit, I never touch the Animations folder. I have stuff from 2009 in there and many of the poses are unused for years. But I just can’t bring myself to delete them.
This Pose Fair is an event that you’ll love, if you are a props & poses fan. There are amazing brands there, also there are newer brands that are worth visiting, with modelling, casual, family, friends, couple poses, dances, AOs and whatever else you can imagine.
For today, I chose a pose by Exposeur, which is part of a collaboration with HandVerk. It’s a series of umbrella poses, from romantic to pin-up, and a set of umbrellas, from girly colors to elegant male patterns.
Also, another event that you should check out is the SoHo Sample sale, another discount room with items from various designers. Today, Moniq is wearing a dress by Fleshtone and shoes & clutch by Amarelo Manga.
For each of the Seven Sins, Fake released a skin at the Skin Fair 2013. Bold makeups or soft shades, eerie colors or strong liners – you can choose your favorite sin. I for one, like them all!
I couldn’t help going for Pride, for the main photo, though. Pride and I have a long relationship, not always mutually beneficial. Plus, the Bella in Pride by Fake is definitely something that you need in your inventory!
Bella has such a beautiful face, I had a hard time not staring at my avatar. To be honest, I used a different shape for this post, because the skin looked so much better in it.
What I adore about these skins, besides the lips (the first thing I usually notice) is the brows. They look realistic and are nicely trimmed, plus, they are not too thin. I am a fan of thick eyebrows, in both lives.
Also, I wanted to show you this sexy dress by Amarelo Manga, which is available at the store as group gift.
Plus, with Pose Fair 2013 getting closer, many posemakers have already finished their new releases. In this post, I am featuring new blogger poses by HelaMiyo.
My life took a sudden turn yesterday. Nothing bad happened. Just a new cat in my house. And all the fun and omfgs that come with her. And that distracted me from SL.
As I type this, I’m watching two adult cats playing the hating/mating game, they have no idea what’s going on with themselves. And nor do I.
Anyway, let’s jump back to virtual reality, cats really behave there. And my platform is not a noisy mess 😀
Obviosly, this is another Skin Fair post and there will be some more coming up, so don’t go anywhere 🙂
Today’s choice is Amacci. The brand released a new skin, called Rayna, for The Skin Fair 2013. It has the loveliest lips and lots of features, but we’ll talk about it a bit later.
The hair on Moniq is new by Alice Project. Besides three hairstyles, the brand released two new color huds, with streaks and sparkles and lots of cool colors. I’m sure you’ll enjoy them. Plus there are some hunts going on, so drop by the store to check them out too!
The dress is a dollarbie by Sysy at Shop Free*Style. That’s another place to go, if you didn’t visit the venue yet. Everything from shapes and skins to shoes and accessories, with prices between 1 and 50 lindens.
